PanelDexPrivacy
PanelDex runs entirely in your browser. Panel details, circuit descriptions, loads and settings are processed on your device to build the editor, the totals, the PDFs, the Excel and CSV files and the QR code. They are never sent to our servers or anyone else.
Your panels are saved in this browser's local storage so they're there next time. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them, so download a backup or CSV if you want to keep them.
The share link holds the panel inside the link itself, after the # sign, which browsers don't send to the web server. Anyone you give the link or its QR code to can see that panel.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and a few anonymous events, such as “PDF downloaded” with the panel size. It's cookie-free, doesn't track you across sites and never receives what you type into the tool.
Terms
PanelDex is provided “as is”, without warranty. Check every schedule, directory and label against the panel before you rely on it. Labelling tool only. Turn power off and follow local code; have a licensed electrician do electrical work. PanelDex doesn't check code compliance, and its load totals aren't a code load calculation. You're responsible for how you use what it produces. PanelDex is free for personal and commercial use.
